I work in an open and honest way with my sellers and see it as my job to offer them accurate and impartial advice, to allow them to make informed decisions and to get the best outcome for them, in the sale of their home.

It follows that I should have the appropriate skills to actually do the job, which means that I should be easy to get along with, communicate clearly and quickly with everyone, market effectively and be a skilled negotiator. I also think you need to have focus, enthusiasm and commitment. This is not a 9-5 job – the day finishes when all the work is done, because tomorrow could be even busier !

I passionately believe that any good agent should be able to demonstrate their skills to a prospective seller – to quite literally role play various scenarios, on demand, so that you can see and hear exactly what they do. I think you also have a right to ask me about my sales track record, or alternatively check me out on-line in the sold pages of the web sites and the independent agent rating site – ratemyagent.com. It’s about helping you to achieve what you want, within a timescale that suits your needs and in so doing, delivering an experience that results in you thinking and repeating to other people that Steve at Elders really IS different – he acts with integrity, honesty, enthusiasm and delivers great results. He puts deals together with his clients’ best interest in mind at all times, goes the extra mile if that’s what it takes. He’ll look after me. He’s the guy that I want to deal with in Real Estate.
